Hanukkah: The Festival of Lights 🕎

Hello, little learner!
Hanukkah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight-day celebration in December. It remembers the time when a small amount of oil miraculously burned for eight nights! Families light a special candleholder called a menorah, one candle for each night of Hanukkah.

Cool Facts About Hanukkah:

  • Dreidel games are super popular during Hanukkah.

  • People eat delicious fried foods like latkes (potato pancakes).

  • The word “Hanukkah” means “dedication.”

Activity Idea:
Draw and color your own menorah! Add eight little candles and one big one in the middle.
